Pit-fighting dogs aren't pets.
Pitnutter
noun
A person who irrationally promotes the idea that pitbull-type dogs are safe, while ignoring statistics about dog attacks.

The purpose of this site is to help educate people about the dangers of pitbull-type dogs and counter the myths that pit bulls are safe "nanny dogs." Dogs bred for pit-fighting aren't suitable as pets.

The statistics are undeniable: only about 5-6% of dogs in the United States are pitbulls, but they cause about 70% of fatal dog attacks.

"I blame myself for not knowing the danger."

— the parent of a child killed by family pitbulls
